Qualifications

Maryam’s life journey comprises an eclectic set of education and experience. The learning and knowledge she’s accumulated through the years, added to her constant intuitive reception of new wisdom, become synthesized into newfound wisdom every day. Following is a brief on her educational and professional history, divided academically and spiritually:

Academic Path

This path is what sets Maryam’s work apart from the majority of spiritual healers. Through it, she’s developed strong logic, critical-thinking and teaching/coaching skills, the ability to understand and operate with masculine energy, keeping herself and her clients grounded at all times, no matter how out-of-the-world their experience is. It has also provided the backbone necessary for her natural writing talent she’s had since she was a child.

Maryam specialized in sciences during secondary school, 1998.
She received her BA, graduating top of her class, in Fine Arts (Art Direction section), Helwan University, 2003.
She started her tertiary-level English teaching career in 2005 and taught full-time at several universities until 2012.
During that period, she received a teaching fellowship from the American University in Cairo to study MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She started in 2008 and graduated in 2010.

In 2012 and 2013, she started working in several part-time jobs related to TEFL: language instruction, teacher training and language testing and assessment. She kept these jobs until she quit the last one in 2022.

Spiritual Path

Maryam’s spiritual journey into who she is today is written in full in the previous section “Journey;” yet, this is a simple recount of her tangible learning in the spiritual realm:

She learned and practiced the art of qigong in 2008-2009.
In 2009, she learned about Human Design, which helped her know the importance of following one’s intuition and how to make decisions.
She was certified as a Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner and coach in 2011.
Later that year, she learned kundalini sacred dance and was certified in Reiki (Levels I-II).
In 2012, she was certified in Reiki III and crystal healing.
She became a certified Past-life Regression Hypnotist in 2015.
She attended a Tarot-reading workshop in 2016 and became certified as a laughter-yoga facilitator that same year.

Throughout those years and later, she has had endless readings and attended workshops, classes and sessions in Tao, astrology, numerology, morphopsychology, palmistry, psychology, mythology, dream interpretation and more.
