This workshop is an activation of the throat chakra to help it express the seeker’s authentic voice. Maryam teaches the group how to surrender and open up to let Voice express itself freely. On the way to achieving this, the individuals find themselves journeying to places within their consciousness, removing blockages against such genuine self-expression and activating other chakras to do so. One possible—and beautiful—effect of this workshop is the possibility for the seeker to develop a chanting ability similar to the shaman’s, depending on how much is uncovered during the work.
